I'm not sure what it is, but the simplicity of this website constantly attracts me. As a new blogger, I find the knowledge that I must do at least one thing a day, blog on my site, calming. The act of creating something for the site that is worth the effort may not be as relaxing as the idea. However with The Sartorialist it is easy to find a parallel between waking up and getting dressed and all the actions that one may do in any given day. One can see the thought and effort exerted with every picture from both the subject and the photographer, yet all they are capturing is normal every day life. It is life being captured by people who care about the little things, who also care enough about sharing it with others. Sometimes when you over complicate life, it is nice to recognize the beauty of getting dressed and walking down the street.
